Since the 21st century, China's economy has been in a stage of rapid development. The economic level of both towns and villages has been greatly improved. At the same time, the population flow has also been greatly intensified. Under the background of the new era, the construction of cities is speeding up, with a large number of organizations springing up, a large number of rural people working in cities, and talents from units entering the society, accelerating the process of urbanization in our country. In the process of urbanization, as a large number of population flows into the city, it will also bring certain influence to the development of the city. For example, the increase in the number of urban residents will lead to more and more social contradictions, which will bring new challenges to the governance of urban communities. Based on this, this paper mainly analyzes the innovation path of urban community governance under the new era background, for reference.
