Research on the Identity of College English Teachers from the Perspective of Social Culture

Identity is the cognition of self. In the field of education, teachers' professional self-cognition is very important. The research of teacher's identity is an effective way to understand teachers' teaching ideas and behaviors. Based on the analysis of the causes of the identity crisis of college English major teachers, this study explores the ways to reconstruct the identity of college English major teachers and turn it into a positive factor for education, thus becoming the foundation for the improvement of college English major teachers' professional ability.
