Abstract

In recent years, teacher’s teaching belief has been a research hotspot in the field of education at home and abroad. It will have an important impact on teacher’s professional development, work confidence, attitude, and students’ learning behavior, habits, and interests. As an important subject in high school, the importance of teacher’s teaching belief is self-evident. Teachers’ teaching and students’ learning are two concepts that interact and influence each other. Teachers’ teaching methods, teaching ideas and teaching principles will affect students’ learning methods, learning ideas and learning effects, and vice versa. What teachers say and do is imperceptibly affecting students. High school English teachers with better improved teaching beliefs are more able to guide students’ learning process and constantly promote their own progress.
