For China and Germany, the commonly used teaching methods are three-dimensional teaching method and holistic teaching method. There are differences and similarities between the two teaching methods in language theory and understanding of language. It is a typical teaching method in the world. The research and analysis of the similarities and differences between Chinese and German English teaching methods will provide a useful reference for the improvement and reform of English Teaching in China.
