Abstract

“The Defender”is a film adapted from the real events in the history of South Korea. It was officially released at the end of 2013. Since its release, it has attracted extensive attention at home and abroad. “The Defender” was introduced into China in early 2014 and caused great repercussions. The reason why this film is so popular is not only that it is adapted from the real story, but also the narrative of the story itself is very wonderful and attractive. This film, made by recording the real events, not only makes the case that was sentenced to 33 years be overturned again, but also has a great power to arouse the Korean people to face up to and reflect on the historical events.
