Abstract

During the Tudor Dynasty, Oxford University and Cambridge University developed very rapidly. Many colleges were built in both universities, and many colleges were rebuilt. Both the kingship and the church wanted to strengthen their control over universities by building or rebuilding colleges. However, in the conflict between the two sides, the university has reaped the greatest benefits and achieved huge expansion.
