Abstract

The dream of the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation requires not only the vigorous development of economic construction and the improvement of people's material living standards, but also the strong cultural accumulation to support the rejuvenation of Chinese civilization. As General Secretary Xi Jinping has pointed out, "Without a high degree of cultural confidence and a flourishing culture, there can be no great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation." In terms of economic development, China has now become the world's second largest economy, second only to the United States, with remarkable achievements and strong momentum. However, in terms of soft power such as cultural attraction, cultural development level and cultural diplomacy, China can not be called a strong country at present. Therefore, the construction along the "the Belt and Road Initiative" is an important link in the realization of China's soft power expansion in the new era.
