Research on the Spread and Governance of Internet Rumors under the COVID-19

Abstract

While COVID-19 raged in 2020, various online rumors were rampant. According to the characteristics of online rumors, this paper analyzed the reasons for the formation and spread of online rumors under COVID-19, and put forward corresponding governance measures from the government propaganda department & health department, government & public network platform operators, and the general public & college students.
