How to ensure the quality of general education courses and achieve the goals of general education courses has become a common problem in general education in universities. At present, the problem of "water class" has appeared in the course construction of colleges and universities. In particular, general education in applied colleges has become the hardest hit area of "water class". This article analyzes the status quo of general education in applied colleges and general education has become "water class".
