The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward: "We should strengthen the construction of teachers' morality, cultivate high-quality education team and advocate the whole society to respect teachers and attach importance to education".General Secretary Xi Jinping also made many speeches on teachers' ethics on different occasions, and put forward the importance of teachers' ethics construction and a series of standards and requirements for teachers' ethics, thus forming teachers' ethics thoughts with rich connotations. Guided by Xi Jinping 's ethics thoughts, this paper explains the significance of Xi Jinping 's ethics thoughts in the new era from three aspects: core content, practical significance and theoretical significance.
