Abstract

Environmental protection is a key link in the process of global greening. It is very important to formulate a scientific forest management plan to meet the comprehensive social interests of different regions while increasing forest carbon sequestration. Therefore, this paper first constructs an ABM simulation model to describe forest growth. The growth model of single tree and its interaction with environment were introduced, and then the carbon absorption model of forest and its products was developed. We use genetic algorithm to describe the model, phase out the solution with low fitness value, and maximize the total carbon sequestration of the whole forest in a given time.
