Focusing on the problems encountered by the author in the process of college English teaching and after the combination with author’s own English teaching experience, this paper analyzes the causes of the problems in the current college English teaching process and gives targeted suggestions and countermeasures, in an attempt to provide thoughts and suggestions for universities to better integrate into the trend of globalization, tell Chinese stories well and effectively as well as achieve the goals of college English teaching.
