Abstract

As the "reserve army" and "talent pool" of teachers in primary and secondary schools, public-funded normal students play a key role in revitalizing rural education and promoting the development of education in my country. The motivation of the provincial public-funded normal students to apply for the examination plays a predictive role in their expectation of engaging in the teaching profession in the future. Accordingly, through a questionnaire survey of 122 provincial public-funded normal students in Qufu Normal University, it is found that there is a close relationship between the motivation of public-funded normal students to apply for the examination and their willingness to teach. This provides detailed and reliable first-hand data for the next step of the implementation and improvement of the public-funded normal student policy, as well as a reference for the future public-funded normal students to apply for the examination and the training of public-funded normal students.
