Research on the Impact of Family Capital on College Students’ Employment

Abstract

With the popularization of higher education, colleges and universities continue to expand enrollment, the number of graduates increases year by year, the employment situation is becoming increasingly severe, and the employment of college students has become a hot topic of general concern in society. As the original environment for the growth of college students, the capital stock of the family may have an impact on the employment of college students. This paper first sorts out the relevant research on family capital, college student employment and the relationship between the two at home and abroad, and determines the core concepts and variables. Then, through the distribution and collection of questionnaires, data on the capital and employment tendencies of college students' families were collected, and the collected data was analyzed using SPSS to draw valid conclusions. Finally, on the basis of the above research, some implication was obtained from government, colleges and universities, and students.
