Abstract

Influenced by economic globalization and Western capitalist ideology, some refined egoists have emerged in our country. John Dewey's new individualism emphasizes that individual interests should be subordinated to society, which has far-reaching implications for the cultivation of "patriotic, dedicated, honest and friendly" citizens in our country.
