Abstract

Based on a short story “The Chaser” written by John Collier, the essay focuses on analysis of how the rhetorical devices applied in the text play their role to reach the theme appropriately. Even if you are a writing novice, you can find it accessible to appreciate the magic metaphors and feel the values of love following the plume of the writer.
