Abstract

The online youth subculture has built an interactive platform between mainstream ideology and youth groups to a considerable extent. With the maturation of new media, mainstream culture in the new era should take the initiative to establish communication and dialogue with youth subcultures, correctly grasp its underlying motivations, put forward a guiding approach, promote cultural diversification and cultural innovation, and consolidate the mainstream ideology leading role.
