With the continuous advancement of media technology, variety shows have appeared in the "circle" feature. In order to seek a better development path, variety shows must "break the circle" through innovation and integration. This article shows the necessity of "breaking the circle" by studying the meaning of "breaking the circle" and the characteristics of the audience's needs in variety shows.
