The connotation of further improve people’s living standards has been constantly improved and enriched since the early days of the People's Republic of China. From "egalitarianism" at first to "further improve people’s living standards with certain reasonable differences" now, its connotation has become more scientific, and the rule of law plays an irreplaceable supporting role in the promotion of further improve people’s living standards. This paper takes the evolution of the connotation of further improve people’s living standards, the rich legal resources of further improve people’s living standards and the beneficial experience of local practice and exploration of further improve people’s living standards represented by Zhejiang Province as the research objects, and tries to straighten out the rich legal resources supporting the realization of further improve people’s living standards in China at present and the general direction of its further development in the future.
