Innovation and entrepreneurship education is an important part of talent training, which conforms to the law of social development and meets the development needs of the new situation. This paper expounds the teaching mechanism of innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities under the new situation from three aspects: the basic concept of innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities, the existing outstanding problems and relevant measures, in order to provide reference for improving the teaching mechanism of innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities.
