Abstract

This paper compares the different characteristics of piano education in China and the United States through the cultural differences between China and the United States in terms of development history, social environment, training goals, education system, teaching methods and teaching materials. An in-depth understanding of Western piano teaching models promote the faster and stronger development of piano education in China.
