In Pan's theory of imagery, the most often used in the study of a work of art is: "three levels" theory, Pan proposed that a work of art can be divided into three levels layer by layer, in order to comprehensively and solid analysis of the research objects. Panowski's imagery method is not only applicable to the western art research, but also applicable to the art in the history of Chinese art.
