Infant physical education is an important part of physical education, and it is also the due meaning of people's desire for a better life in the new era. This paper uses research methods of literature and logical deduction to study the development connotation, value promotion and implementation path of infant physical education based on the new era sports construction background. The research believes that infant physical education is a kind of education for children and a kind of education to cultivate their initial sports ability. The research suggests that we should pay attention to the foundation role of infant physical education in the construction of sports in the new era, and promote the development of infant physical education, so as to accelerate the realization of the development goal of China from a "major sports country" to a "world sports power".
