Abstract

With the continuous acceleration of economic development speed, the construction demand of industrial plant is more and more large. In the construction process of the industrial plant, it usually adopts the portal steel frame and light steel structure, which is mainly due to the fact that the overall weight of this structure is light, the steel consumption is small, and the construction period is short. However, with the increasing application range of portal steel frame light steel structure, many problems existing in the design process are gradually exposed. On March 4,2007, more than 10 industrial plants and sheds collapsed in Tianjin under the influence of heavy snowfall. In this paper, the design of portal steel light steel structure. It is hoped that the quality of the design can be improved through the discussion of this paper.
