Abstract

Over the past thirty or forty years, writing therapy has been practiced and developed as one of the methods of psychological intervention. However, there are still some risks and uncertainties in the process of writing therapy, especially for college students, and the "reflective" aspect of traditional writing therapy has the risk of triggering rumination. This paper discusses the mechanism of college students' writing therapy to guide rumination. By adapting the process of traditional writing therapy, it is possible to reconcile it with rumination.
