Abstract

Teachers are the most important leaders in the process of students' growth, establishing correct values for students and helping them realize their own values. In the teaching of music courses in universities, it is necessary to organically combine ideological and political education with professional teaching, and cultivate high-quality talents with comprehensive development of morality, intelligence, physical fitness, aesthetics, and labor. This article elaborates on the concept and connotation of curriculum ideological and political education, analyzes the characteristics of music major courses, summarizes the current problems in music major courses, and proposes innovative strategies for the teaching path of music major courses in universities under the background of curriculum ideological and political education.
