Abstract

Since the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the State Administration of Cultural Heritage convened the protection of national historical and cultural cities and Chinese historical and cultural towns and villages, many places in China began to develop historic villages and towns reconstruction projects. However, some projects were carried out without relevant expertise, resulting in the destruction of many historic buildings. This paper will illustrate and propose some solutions to give full play to the control role of the protection planning of famous historical and cultural cities, towns and villages by improving the supervision and management system.
