At present, in Higher Education of our country, the work of Party building and ideological and political education of students are two important tasks to guide contemporary college students to establish correct outlook on life, values and world outlook. With the rapid development of society in the new media era, the Party building and ideological and political education of college students are facing new problems, changes and challenges. This paper makes an analysis of the relationship and current situation between Party building and ideological and political education of college students in our country, and points out that under the new situation, the work of Party building and educating students is the core of Ideological and political education for Contemporary College students, and ideological and political education is also an important way to carry out the work of Party building of College students. The two complement each other and are helpful for promoting college students in an all-round way. Comprehensive quality plays an important role.
