Abstract

This article explores the importance of how to construct and improve a new teaching system for academic water-based material painting majors in the current rapidly changing education and art environment. By analyzing the tradition and innovation needs of academic education, the article emphasizes the importance of establishing a clear professional positioning, cultivating an innovative spirit, and creating first-class majors. This study proposes that through continuous self-improvement and upgrading, combined with traditional skills and new-age technologies, students can effectively broaden their artistic creation horizons, improve their aesthetic literacy and social practice abilities, and ultimately cultivate outstanding artistic talents who can adapt to the needs of contemporary society.
