College English teaching has followed the traditional teaching methods for a long time, which can not effectively stimulate students' interest. College English is an important part of higher education in China. With the diversification of social demand for English talents, the demand for English talents is more urgent. There is an imbalance between the current teaching situation and the demand for English talents, which requires a large number of teachers in the new era to carry out college English teaching reform. They need to try new teaching methods to improve efficiency. The combination of flipped classroom and CBI teaching mode is a very useful attempt.
