A Study of Education for Ideology and Politics in English Teaching of Higher Vocational Schools under the Reform of “Ideological and Political Theories Teaching in All Courses”

Abstract

With the deepening of education reform, many new teaching concepts have emerged, and “ideological and political theories teaching in all courses” is one of the important parts. In the context of the age of quality-oriented education, the emergence of the new concept of “ideological and political theories teaching in all courses” is undoubtedly a pioneering initiative in education reform. Its main educational concepts can be divided into three directions, namely full participation, full curriculum education and all-round counseling. This kind of educational concept has become the main form of education for ideology and politics in English teaching of higher vocational education. However, there are still some deficiencies in the curriculum ideological and political reform. Based on the current status of vocational English teaching, this paper proposes some improvements to effectively improve the quality of education for ideology and politics in vocational English classroom.
