Abstract

In this study, the effect of start-up time of HP-BTMS was studied by transient numerical calculation, and its cycle characteristic were also demonstrated. The numerical computation results showed that The battery temperature will reach equilibrium state as soon as the HP-BTMS is initiated at the equilibrium value. The temperature difference on the surface will dramatically increase to a high value when HP-BTMS initiated, and then gradually decrease to a low value of equilibrium state. The temperature difference on the surface in the whole cooling process will be higher than that in equilibrium state.
