At present,table tennis culture research is still in its infancy. In order to provide theoretical reference for the development and research of table tennis culture,this paper  ,under the guidance of culturology, sociology, anthropology and sports sociology  , makes a deep research on the connotation of table tennis culture by using the method of literature and expert interview,systematically expounding the definition, classification, characteristics and functions of table tennis culture.
