Abstract

The in-depth fusion of shaping college students' values and the teaching objectives of college English courses is conducive to promoting the excellent traditional Chinese culture, conducive to the realization of the objectives of college English "curriculum ideological and political", conducive to building the value-centered college English teaching, conducive to response to the "infiltration and suppression" of western values. This article proposes specific integration paths: through the comparison of Chinese and western cultures, cultivate students correct Chinese and western cultural values; excavate the theme education content and organically fuse with the core socialist values; carry out a wide range of values education with the help of the second class of college English; strengthen the construction of college English textbooks, achieve the teaching objectives of cross-cultural communication; expand the development channels of English teachers, and cultivate leaders who are deeply fused with objectives.
